DeleteBase 10 number uses numbers(0-9) and as it title suggests it is base on the number (10)
ReplyDeleteSo true! Can you give an example?
DeleteI'm learning how to find the place value and value in based 10 number system , also I'm learning the standard form and expanded form . For ex: value form of 0 in 43,901. The value form will be tens and the value is 0 ,in this case you keep the 0 no changes .
ReplyDeleteGood explaining of the places and values! We gonna learn more about this!
DeleteEdith,
ReplyDeleteI agree, and it is all related I think
Value is the worth of a number based on its position.
ReplyDeleteFor example, in the number 76,894 the value of "6" is 6,000.
Place Value is the value of where the digit is in the number.
Example: in 745, the "4" is in the "tens"position so it shows the value of 40.
Base 10 number is the decimal we use each day. It is based on the number 10

DeleteI learn about the 10 numbers and how to place them it's interesting
ReplyDeleteCan you give an example?
DeleteI learn the value and place of each digits for example 678 value is 600
ReplyDeleteI learned that 0 in the place is only a place holder so I don't have to write it in the expanded form, Exa 590,654 =500000+90000+600+50+4
ReplyDeleteGreat example, Amanda.
DeleteI have learned that we only use the 10 base digit number systems 0123456789 since 10 is a place value digit.
ReplyDeleteGreat, Ivan. Could you give an example of how we use place value vs. value?
DeleteI agree, Edith and Jose. Nice job helping each other out!
